Final update –
The total amount now passed to Prostate Scotland is just over £121,000.
Today a Bro representing us all was privileged to be invited to be present at the Western Infirmary in Edinburgh when the new robot assisted surgery unit was officially launched by Shona Robison the Secretary for Health.
This now means that robotic systems are in place in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen helping men from all over Scotland. During the launch the Chairman of Prostate Scotland made specific mention of the Charity Zipslide by the Freemasons in Scotland and the fact that the £120k had taken the Blue Horizon Robot Appeal to a conclusion and allowed the robots to be brought into service.
