Had a super time on Fri & Sat, outwith the Province of Renfrewshire East. Was at Tarbolton 135 where I got to meet up with friends old & new from “Tarbowton”, Norfolk & a large deputation from Grand Lodge of Belgium headed by their Most Worshipful Grand Master Mason Bro Jacques Francoise.

On Saturday had the honour of being a guest at Mother Kilwinning no 0, to see my great friend Bro Jim Savage RWM being installed into the chair. Delighted that the Brethren from Belgium were there too. I had the privelege of leading hundreds of Brethren in singing the anthemic “Jerusalem: Holy City”. The experience will remain with me for the rest of my life

Met a Brother recently in Lodge Kingussie who entered the Craft as an Entered Apprentice in 1961!! Due to life & work circumstances he “fell away” from Freemasonry. In 1997, 36 years later, he met a Bro who had been at his initiation who “brought him back” for his FCD & MMD. This Bro who had ‘been lost in the wilderness’ is now the RWM of Lodge Ness.. he is an enthusiastic 82 years young!! Magic!
