A Summer Date for Diaries

With summer (hopefully) just around the corner there is an important date to be written into Masonic diaries.

It is, of course, the Marcus Humphrey House Annual Garden Fete that will take place on Saturday, 9th June 2018.

This year’s event at Quarriers Village – from 1pm to 4pm – promises to be bigger and better than ever.

Invited guests will include Bro. J. M. Marcus Humphrey of Dinnet, Past Grand Master, Provost Brennan from Inverclyde Council and the Lord Lieutenant of Renfrewshire, Mr Guy Clark.

Among the attractions will be live music provided by the Riverside Youth Band, along with an accordionist and a piper to get feet tapping.

Highland dancing, a putting competition, wine tombola, a whisky draw, and lucky programme raffles will keep visitors busy and amused and a magician will be on hand to provide a touch of mystery.

There’s no fear of going hungry or thirsty either with hot dogs, burgers, baked potatoes, home baking, strawberry teas, a chocolate fountain and a soft drink stall all on offer.
